Doctrines

Save the World Christian Ministry is a Pentecostal, Bible-believing, Online Christian ministry committed to preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ, living holy lives, and demonstrating God’s power through the Holy Spirit. Our beliefs are grounded in the Holy Bible and expressed in love, faith, and obedience.

It was founded by Dr Babatope Babalobi in 2005, and operates mainly through social media platforms.

The Bible

We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God and the final authority for faith, doctrine, and Christian living.
2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21

The One True God

We believe in one God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14

Salvation Through Jesus Christ

We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, through His death and resurrection.
John 14:6; Acts 4:12; Ephesians 2:8–9

Repentance, New Birth, and Sanctification

We believe all people must repent of sin, be born again, and grow continually in holiness through the power of the Holy Spirit.
John 3:3–5; Acts 2:38; 1 Thessalonians 4:3

Water Baptism

We believe in water baptism by immersion as a public declaration of faith and obedience to Christ.
Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:3–4

The Holy Spirit, Power, and Anointing

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, which empowers believers for godly living, bold witness, spiritual gifts, and divine anointing for service.
Acts 1:8; Acts 2:4; Luke 4:18; 1 John 2:20

Spiritual Gifts, Healing, and Deliverance

We believe the gifts of the Holy Spirit are active today, and that God still heals, delivers, and sets people free through faith in Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 12:7–11; Mark 16:17–18; Luke 10:19

Prayer, Spiritual Warfare, and Holy Living

We believe in the power of prayer, fasting, and spiritual warfare, and we encourage believers to live victorious, holy lives through Christ.
Ephesians 6:12–18; James 5:16

Christian Stewardship and Giving

We believe in honoring God through faithful stewardship, including the giving of tithes and offerings to support God’s work, care for others, and advance the gospel.
Malachi 3:8–10; 2 Corinthians 9:6–8

Modesty and Godly Character

We believe Christians should reflect godliness in their appearance and conduct, practicing modest and decent dressing with love, humility, and respect for personal convictions.
1 Timothy 2:9–10; 1 Peter 3:3–4; Romans 14:5–6

Sexual Purity and Moral Integrity

We believe in sexual purity and moral holiness. Sexual relations are to be practiced only within biblical marriage of a biological man and a woman
1 Corinthians 6:18–20; Hebrews 13:4

Integrity, Contentment, and Freedom from Greed

We believe believers are called to live honest, content, and disciplined lives, rejecting greed, covetousness, and the love of money.
Hebrews 13:5; 1 Timothy 6:6–10

Evangelism and Digital Outreach

We believe every believer is called to share the gospel and to use all appropriate means—including social media and digital platforms—to reach the world for Christ.
Matthew 28:19–20; Mark 16:15

The Second Coming of Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ will return bodily and visibly to judge the world, reward the faithful, and establish His eternal kingdom.
Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17

About the Founder

Dr Babatope Babalobi of the Save the World Online Christian Ministry was divinely mandated in 2001 to ‘set the captives free and give sight to the blind’.

I was called into this ministry on June 23, 2002, when in a dream, I was taken up by the forefinger of the right hand of a spirit being and shown two dreams/visions.

The first vision expresses how sins had polluted the flower and beauty of the world. In the second dream, I saw images depicting Sexual immorality- how ladies have turned themselves into loaves of Bread and are being fondled by men because of monetary rewards.

After that, I heard two messages: “Set the captives free”. “Give sight to the blind.” the Spirit Being engaged me in a dialogue thus:

“Tope (this is the abridged form of my first name-Babatope), will you go?” “Where is the money?” I responded. “The money in the hands of Satan is mine”, said the Spirit Being. Then I asked: “How do I start?’ There was no response to this, and I woke up

Over time, I  prayerfully meditated on the meaning and interpretation of these words of knowledge and dreams, and the Holy Spirit referred me to Acts 26: 16-18:

“But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee; Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.”

However, on September 19, 2005, the Holy Spirit gave me more understanding of the earlier revelations, informing me that-

  • I am a Minister (servant of God), not by human ordination, but by the ordination of the Holy Spirit in the order of Peter (Mathew 4:18-19), and Paul (Acts 26:13-18) And that I am directly answerable to, and under the sole authority of Christ and the Holy Spirit.
  • That I am being called by Christ (1 Cor. 4:1) to be a Minister of the word (Luke 1:2),  I should, without further delay, “arise and stand upon my feet” (Acts 26: 16) to spread the good news.
  • Luke 4:18: The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the broken hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at Liberty them that are bruised.”
  • I meditated on these insights, and that same day, the Holy Spirit told me to name the ministry Save the World, and its activities commenced that same day, September 19, 2005.

I am based in Lagos, Nigeria.

This has a negative effect on me since I focus more on her than myself and that delays my personal progress. I feel like there is a witchcraft spirit working here. Please pray with me.
